St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Saturday was one of those beautiful March days, unseasonably warm, and perfect weather for an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Walls of green lined the parade route on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, and people of all ages and ethnic groups celebrated the Irish holiday.

After the parade, hundreds stayed to drink and party downtown, where I even witnessed shots of liquor being drunk through an ice sculptured pig.

  1. Some great shots! Love the drama of the gun salute with the smoke. The two adorable, serious colonial outfitted boys, the view through the transparent drum, kissing the ice pig and bubbles bubbles bubbles. I enjoyed the day through these photos.
