Romy’s Special Day

Before Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the East Coast, I had the pleasure of photographing Romy’s bat mitzvah. The extended family came from as far away as South Africa and Israel, and the ceremony was made all the more special beacuse Romy’s mother (a rabbi herself) gave the blessing. The kids were among the best behaved teenagers I’ve seen, and a good time was had by all.

I have been photographing for over 30 years and love to see the world through my camera. It gives me a voice as well as entree to places I may not normally be privy to. In addition, my camera enables me to meet people and make observations in day to day life.
